A moth-like obsession with light. Gentle direction when it helps. A love of place. Photographs that still feel like you.

What are we making?

Wedding photography, family portraits + small-business branding across Adelaide, the Clare Valley and beyond.

Five hours or the whole wedding day. Your people, the unseen moments and a few killer portraits, with plenty of time left to celebrate your way.

Two people or forty. Paperwork then dumplings, a long lunch or somewhere beautifully wild.

Family portraits, newborns, couples and chosen family. Let’s make the ordinary days something spectacular for your wall.

The art shouldn’t cost you the experience.

You simply get to be yourselves. Quiet and close. Wild and ridiculous. Serious or silly. Sometimes all of it before dinner. The photographs should hold all of that without asking you to perform it.

My wedding photography is not simply candid or connection-led. It is clearly observed and deliberately composed. I let the real thing happen and then use light, distance and the shape of the place to make it feel significant.

Nothing is forced, but you won’t be left wondering what to do either. I won’t let you slouch or make T-Rex arms. My direction is about connection, not choreography, and I won’t force the moment to fit the photograph.

“It felt like hanging out with an old friend. She made us feel super comfortable, so all our photos came out so natural.”

Recent work:

“The brief at our wedding was: ‘Let’s have fun and not feel like we are spending the whole day posing for photos.’ She couldn’t have nailed it more. Sarah glued our day together with her expertise, which went far beyond photography.”

Meet Sarah.

Guests often ask how I know the couple. Usually, I don’t.

I’ve spent 15 years photographing people, and I still get genuinely invested in every couple having a bloody wonderful day.

Beautiful light still stops me in my tracks. So do the tiny exchanges, ridiculous guest moments and little details that make the people you love unmistakably themselves. I love wandering off the path and getting a little lost, just to find more of the soul of a place.

I’ll read the room, bring calm when you need it and join in when the energy lifts. If the timeline wobbles, I won’t. I’ll communicate, adapt and keep the day moving without making it feel managed.

Quiet closeness. Completely unrestrained joy.
